CodeScreen
The assessment-native ATS

The coding screen, the ATS and the AI are one product.

Everyone else sells you an ATS, then an assessment vendor, then an AI feature bolted on top of both. CodeScreen was built the other way round: challenges live in the pipeline, and the scoring reads the actual submissions and scorecards underneath it. Send a challenge, auto-score it, advance the stage.

Why us

Four things nobody else puts in one box

01

Assessment is a stage, not an integration

Author a challenge in the studio, attach it to a pipeline stage, and it sends, scores and advances by itself. No webhook to babysit, no second login, no scores living in someone else's dashboard.

02

AI that has to show its receipts

A deterministic match score you can reproduce, plus a written summary that may only cite real records. Every claim links back to the scorecard or the submission behind it. Because it sits on your pipeline rather than beside it, there's nothing left to infer from thin air.

03

Live sessions, because take-homes are over

An unsupervised take-home now measures which model a candidate subscribes to. Interviewer-gated live coding is the honest answer, and it's the format we build for first.

04

Assessments are never metered

Unlimited on every paid plan, permanently. Per-attempt pricing quietly teaches teams to screen fewer people — which is the opposite of what a screening tool is for.

Platform

Requisition to signed offer, without leaving

The product is already deep. What follows is what's built and running today — not a roadmap.

Pipeline & CRM

Custom stages per job, candidate records, notes, sequences and automations that move people without anyone remembering to.

AI assessment studio

Draft quizzes and coding challenges across multiple languages from a job description in seconds, then edit what you keep. Everything lands in a reusable library.

Live coding

A real editor the interviewer sits in with the candidate, tied to the stage and archived against the record afterwards.

Scheduling & scorecards

Book the loop, collect structured feedback on custom forms, and chase whoever hasn't submitted — per interviewer, not by group email.

Offers & placements

Build the offer, track acceptance, and — for agencies — the placement and commission that follow it.

Reporting & compliance

Funnel and time-in-stage reporting, requisition approvals, retention policies and an audit trail for the people who ask about them.

How it works

One loop, four moves

STEP 01

Post and source

Open a requisition, publish to your careers page, and let sequences work the inbound and the referrals.

STEP 02

Screen with real work

The stage sends the challenge, scores the submission and moves whoever clears the bar. No one triages a spreadsheet.

STEP 03

Interview and decide

Book the loop, collect blind scorecards, and read one rollup that says where the candidate stands and who is blocking it.

STEP 04

Offer and place

Send the offer from the same record, then track the placement — and the commission, if you're billing for it.

Agency & in-house

One product that knows which business you're in

Set the mode per organization. The pipeline, the assessments and the scorecards are identical — what changes is who the candidate belongs to and what happens when they're hired.

In-house

You're hiring for your own team. Requisitions, approvals and headcount are the spine.

Requisition approval chains
Hiring-manager and interviewer roles
Branded careers page and referrals
DEI and time-to-hire reporting

Agency

You're placing engineers with clients. Customers, submissions and commission are the spine.

Customer records and job orders
Placements and commission tracking
Client-facing submissions carrying verified scores
Per-recruiter pipeline and performance

The agency pitch nobody else can make: send your client a candidate with a verified assessment score attached, not a PDF and your word for it.

Founding plan

We're pre-launch. That's the offer.

One plan, one price, locked for 24 months. In exchange we ask for your logo, a testimonial once it's earned, and a monthly call where you tell us what's wrong. There is no free tier and no tier matrix — that ladder ships once there are enough customers to segment.

Design partners

We're taking three to five teams who will actually use it weekly — with a written usage expectation and a conversion price agreed before you start. You get the roadmap on speed dial. We get the truth.

Apply as a design partner

Two commitments we'll hold you to when the full pricing ladder lands: compliance features are what you pay more for, never the daily workflow — and assessments stay unlimited on every paid plan, forever.

Tell us what you're hiring for

A real person reads every one of these. Say roughly how many engineers you hire a year and what you're using today — we'll come back with whether we're a fit, and say so plainly if we're not.

A 30-minute walkthrough on your own roles, not a canned demo
A straight answer on migration from your current ATS
No sequence, no drip campaign, no "checking in" emails
